I was born and raised in the small town of Acme, Alberta, Canada. I took all 12 years of my primary education in Acme after which I continued my secondary education in the city of Calgary. There I attend the Mount Royal College where I took two years of physical education. I then transferred to the University of Calgary where I completed my Bachelor of Physical Education degree.
I then took a year off and worked different jobs where upon I met my wife-to-be, Jo-Anne. Jo-Anne provided me with the opportunity to attend the University of Lethbridge where I attained my Bachelor of Education degree.

Upon graduating, I was fortunate enough to land a teaching position in the small community of Milo, Alberta. I had a great 17 years being an active member of this great little town raising three wonderful children - Brett, Katie and Layne.
Katie - Brett - Layne
We left Milo which was really hard - leaving people who we really cared about and who really cared about us. But my calling was to move to Coaldale where I continued to teach in the classroom until 2008 when I then assumed the role as the district Educational Technologist. I'm still currently employed in this role where I have the opportunity to assist teachers in their endeavor to integrate technology into their classrooms.
I'm currently in Dominica working for the Dominica Project (July 2011). The projects mandate is to help the teachers in Dominica to become technologically literate in their integration of the classroom technology.
As well, I'm currently in the last leg of completing my Master's degree from the University of Lethbridge - Information Technology Leadership in Education.
